Connect an Outlook calendar

University Microsoft 365 calendars using a private ICS link.

This connection is read-only and free. PaperMove cannot create, change, delete, accept, or decline anything in Outlook.

Before you begin

1. Publish the calendar in Outlook

  1. Open Outlook on the web and select Settings.
  2. Open Calendar → Shared calendars.
  3. Find Publish a calendar.
  4. Select the calendar you want PaperMove to display.
  5. Select the least detailed permission that meets your needs. Availability-only publishing may appear as “Busy”; full-detail publishing may include event titles.
  6. Select Publish, then copy the ICS link—not the HTML link.

2. Connect it to PaperMove

  1. Sign in to PaperMove and open Account.
  2. Find University Outlook calendars.
  3. Enter a recognisable name such as “Glasgow calendar”.
  4. Paste the private ICS link and select Connect calendar.
  5. Select Sync calendars. Read-only events will appear in Week.

Connect another university account

Repeat both sets of steps while signed in to the other university's Outlook account. Give every connection a distinct name so its events can be identified in Week.
